Delete Your Chinchón Account
Chinchón, a game by Diego Lattanzio for iPhone, iPad and Android · Support
Chinchón creates an online account the first time you enter multiplayer mode: a guest account, or one tied to your Apple or Google account if you choose to sign in. You can request the deletion of that account and its data in either of these two ways.
1. From the game
- Open Chinchón.
- In the main menu, tap the settings button (the gear at the bottom).
- Tap Delete account (Borrar cuenta if the game is in Spanish).
- Confirm with Delete (Borrar).
The account is deleted immediately. If you enter multiplayer again later, the game creates a new guest account for you, without the points of the old one. The option only appears if you have an online account, that is, if you have entered multiplayer at least once.
2. By email, without installing the game
Write to [email protected] with the subject "Delete Chinchón account", and include:
- If you signed in with Google: send the email from that Google account's address.
- If you played as a guest or signed in with Apple: your player name and, if possible, a screenshot of your profile.
We delete the account within 30 days and let you know by email once it is done.
Data that is deleted
- Your player name, avatar and gender.
- Your Apple or Google account data, if you linked one: identifier and name, plus email address and profile picture for Google.
- Your scores and your positions in the leaderboards.
- Your devices' sessions: they lose access to the account.
Data that is kept, and for how long
- Match history: the matches you played are kept so that other players' history stays complete, for statistics and for fair play, but they are anonymized: your seat appears as a deleted player, with no name, avatar or any data that identifies you.
- Reports: if you reported another player or someone reported you, the report and the recent chat messages attached to it are kept for as long as needed to review it and prevent abuse. Other chat messages are not stored.
- Server logs: technical logs, such as IP addresses, for up to 30 days.
- Analytics and advertising data: processed by Google Firebase and Google AdMob under their own retention policies, and not linked to your game account. You can reset or delete your advertising ID from your device settings.
- Data on your device: your local profile and settings stay on your phone until you uninstall the game or clear its data from your device settings.
- We may keep data when required by law.
